Welcome to Eircooled
Our Ethos is simple; We promote, maintain, and encourage the use of classic aircooled vehicles. We run the club in an open, inclusive, and democratic environment. We encourage all members to have an equal say and part to play in the club.
Not without taking the other one out and then putting it back - its not an experience that I'd recommend with the dynamo still in place....
Its roughly similar in size to the inside base of a Duracell AA battery - the centre is a semi circle with a flat base and is mounted on a rectangular pin. Not sure about the thickness though - maybe the same as a 1/2" split pin but I'm guessing. Does that help or do you need more info?
Thanks - I'm back in the market for the springs as the new dynamo will have to wait until my current one is a lot more worn - I didn't realise that they were so expensive.
Are the springs that you have tapered at the end where they rest on the spring or are they the same width all the way?
