Welcome to Eircooled
Our Ethos is simple; We promote, maintain, and encourage the use of classic aircooled vehicles. We run the club in an open, inclusive, and democratic environment. We encourage all members to have an equal say and part to play in the club.
the best advice i can give is to get your old one re conditioned its cheaper and the new ones are not as good quality as the old ones if any use to you
id love to, but its the daily so if it takes any longer than a day im up the creek with no paddle,
that being said, if i dont get it sorted soon ill be up there with a hole in the boat,ha.
cheers tho.
assuming you've already done it but, make sure and clean/sand all the electrical connections to starter and check the earth cable from the nose of the gearbox to the body too before replacing your starter... also check battery connections.
