anyone got an aftermarket fuel pump that's surplus to requirements? Doesn't have to be particularly high-pressure or anything, just a basic lift-pump.
I had one of those Facet solid-state fuel pumps on my Westy back when it was petrol engined and bar some teething issues, once it was sorted it...
I know it's early but we might as well start thinking about it.
A good few of us should be heading up the M1 towards Bishopscourt for DD3 in a couple of weeks time. For DD1 I met up with a few at IKEA on the M50, for DD2 I met up with some at M7 Midway Portlaoise and then another meetup at the...
I have a genuine VW early Bay rubber cab mat in my late Bay. It's doing the job but is a bit "wrong" around the door steps.
Does anyone have a comparable late Bay mat they'd like to swap with me?
If anyone here is thinking of doing the TDI and 5-speed conversion in their bay/T3 then this is the ideal donor car.
It's a '97 Audi A4, AHU code 90BHP TDI engine, 5-speed manual gearbox. Body is rough, interior is worse but I'm reliably informed it was driving fine until parked up. I can't...
the old tank out of my '74 bus. Single "screw-on" outlet in the bottom. Was pinholed but has been repaired. Was fine when I took it out of my van to fit a twin-outlet tank for the diesel conversion.
free to a deserving bus owner :)
It would appear Bray Vintage Club are trying to organise some kind of meetup for all NI reg cars. Sorry to link to facebook but I don't have any more info than what's here:

a BICYCLE rack, you filthy beggars!!! :lol3:
can anyone recommend a nice easy to use, secure bicycle rack for the back of my bus? It would be a bonus if it could be transferred to the Passat estate too but not a deal breaker. Must be able to accomodate two adult bikes and two toddler bikes with...
I'm on the hunt for some mk1 Jetta headlamps and tail lamps. And a right front wing.
actually, if you had a dead or dying mk1 Jetta or even a mk1 Golf ready to be scrapped, I'd give it a new home for a while. There are a few bits I could pillage from another one for mine ;)
anyone got a 1300/1600 engine and IRS gearbox going spare? Looking for a cheapy cheap one. Just enough to get something rolling. Drive shafts would be a bonus but not a deal breaker.
I came across a set of very early bay dash gauges with the black plastic surround in a job lot of parts. They're date stamped 3/68 on the backing plate. Nothing fancy like a trip meter or the optional time clock before you ask and the usual blank in the third hole is missing.
For rebuild...
anyone know where I'd lay my hands on a Wizard Roadster kit in Ireland? I don't want to go trying to get one back from the UK and I have a lifelong burning desire to build one that I need to satisfy.
Donegal, Waterford, Kerry, I don't mind travelling for it.
What's out there?
this kind of...
This is the shell from my now (finally) abandoned Subaru beetle project. I got it from Baz about 12 years ago and it's been dry stored since. When I got it, Baz had cut out the rear bumper hangers, the back apron, a little of the lower left rear quarter to eliminate the rot that must have been...
5x NOS Porsche steel wheels for sale. No tyres. I'm being generous calling them "NOS", they haven't sat in a warehouse for 30 years, they're unused spare wheels from 4x Porsche 944s. Basically they've sat in the spare wheel wells of Porsches for 30 years so they're as close to NOS as you can...
anyone got a beetle ready to be cut up that (beyond all odds) still has the corners highlighted below in good, rust-free condition? I need both the outer and inner skins, i.e. the bottom corners of the roof panel and the rain tray/reinforcing panel from inside.
I've had this 12 years now and done f**k all with it. Can't see myself getting around to it any time soon so I think it's time to shift it on to someone who'll put it together I think.
the engine is a 2.0 Turbo "EJ20" engine from an Irish STI/WRX Impreza, 90k miles done from memory. Came...
anyone got one good original 1970s beetle/bus chrome hubcap? Just one of the caps on my bus appears to be rotting dreadfully, it must be an aftermarket item. I know there are slight differences over the years, I don't care as long as it's in good shape, undented and unrusted.
thanks :)
and...
I have no immediate need for this stuff so it's for the chop!
12V dynamo with wider "doghouse" fan attached
early '70s large oil bath air filter
rearmost "breastplate" tinware piece, 1x 1200, 1x 1300
small piece of tin that covers the bottom pulley nut SOLD to Rattyoval
1300 twin port inlet...
