This one might have been 3 phase originally Trev,I'm not sure,but the motor has been changed to a bigger one..it came with this cool looking cover for the motor and pulleys,but it doesn't fit the motor it has now.First time in about 20 years I got to use a lathe,so happy out with it👍

Not much progress with the beetle lately unfortunately.Bought an old lathe,and fixed it up a bit,and made some spacers for the alternator bracket.Was trying to figure out a bracket for the throttle,but haven't finished that yet.Have a few weeks off soon,and hoping to get back at it.
