    Polishing compounds for head lamp glass may work on the screen. Some of the body polishing compounds would be worth a try if you cant source a windscreen. What is it, fasty or squareback

    two guys set up a new place in Mullingar doing classic car resprays. An eircooled member has had his beetle done there, and he is happy with the result. You need to have deep pockets for a decent respray by a pro. Can you polish out the scratched windscreen

    I am on the hunt for a manifold stem to replace the cracked one on an engine i am working on. Its part number is 113129710E . Or failing that , maybe the loan of one to get my engine started to see if its a viable unit for buying new, thanks.

    I've just discovered that complete new pans were fitted to this car at some time by a vw specialist, so I will be there tomorrow for pics and will send to interested parties, thanks.

    True, but like I said in an earlier post the price has not been finalised until I get the keys to see inside the car, front boot and back boot and engine. I cant do that yet until she returns from Dublin with them. And then they will name a price
