    50'a beetle glass.

Chap says all the glass is shamrock marked Lancegaye. At the moment he says the glass listed here is what he remembers removing form the wrecked vw. His asking price is 150 euro, but i think he is a bit optimistic at that, which i told him. Probably nearer to half that. I am dealing with him for...

    50'a beetle glass.

It appears that Lancegaye Ireland was an irish glass producer that produced glass for many ckd brands over the years in Ireland. Set up in 1956 and then became part of another group in 1966. So this glass could be considered as at least 60 years old or more. The windscreen is 100% flat I have...

    1964 Beetle.

Great looking job, and they are just down the road from me. I contacted them funnily enough this week for a delivery only and self erect. They wouldn't quote me at all, and would not deliver it for self assembly. Their prices too have skyrocketed and lead in time is March of next year at the...

    1964 Beetle.

Well you never skimped on the shed anyway. There is enough chevron bracing in the roof to withstand a hurricane. Nice job. Was it your own build or was it bought in manufactured.

    78 Kombi project.

I think you may well be right. We are all a dying breed soon to be extinct ha ha. Auld lads who suffer with an addiction to spanner wrenching on vw's and very few of the next generation willing to go down the same road.

Not a aingle inquiry to buy it and put it back on the road. Might as well do all the engine bay welding with new panels, and put it back up again to see if that entices anyone.

    78 Kombi project.

Must be a sign of the times, but 10 years ago I would have been inundated with callers to take on this easy project. But to date only one caller to view with a mind to restore it. But a good few looking far parts, but i'd prefer it going back on the road if possible.
