Been looking for a VW van for a little while. Good price. What would it cost me to bring that into Ireland? Anyone know whether I can insure that using private insurance?

Flat rate of 50euro VRT charge on importing commercial from UK. Dunno about insurance - ring around for quotes?

Sorry cant help you on insurance but try quinn direct or some of them but i know up here you can have it on private car policy, i thought was cheaper for commercial than car down there?

did i also mention you can run it on veg oil / diesel 70/30 without having to do anything.....i've never been tempted as it was through the business so couldnt claim it back
