[Wanted: Car] WANTED: T25 for resto

Hi, I'm seeking a T25 for a restoration project.

Willing to pay in and around €1k.

Not fussy on year / engine.

Only limits I have are:
1. Not high top, pop top only.
2. Underbody / chassis must be solid.
3. Must be driving.

Dublin area / surrounding counties.

I did, it seems to be a tin roof (looking for pop up) and the engine looks to need installing (more pictures on gumtree). Donegal might be difficult logistically for me.

Looking for something like stump advertised a while ago, preferably running.

Thanks for mentioning - I suppose I can't be too fussy on my budget so I might make the trip up there to have a look in the new year if I don't get any bites in the meantime.

Just in case anyone else wastes their time:

I went to look at that T25 on donedeal that gary 1998 kindly posted the link to - real piece of scrap. Body is rotten and the interior is destroyed with prolonged wet.

I'm not going to slag the seller off in case anyone here knows him - but he misled me on the phone and lied to me while I was there.

The engine sitting in the back of it is something VW (possibly Mk2 Golf) complete with front wheel drive gearbox & car sump - rusted to hell also.

He's also got a single cab pick-up there which is worse.

There's definitely some good parts on them but he wants top dollar!

If anyone needs to know more (maybe before going up to look at them) feel free to PM me!

Sorry I don't know of any solid T25s going cheap at the moment coley

you be v.lucky to get i runnin at that price.
if u want a project,i have a panel van pretty solid for 400,
leisuredrive interior 150[seat could do with recover]
a mate will have a leisuredrive pop top roof for 250[in next few weeks,as he puttin a hi top on]
i could prob throw in a 4 sp g.box for 200;
but you would still need an engine;u could get a 1.9d for 300 0r less.

Thanks mate, yeah I realise my budget is tight all right. I'm looking at a couple of options at the moment, appreciate the suggestion/offer and will get in touch if what I'm looking at falls away.
