This is an absolutly stunning wee car folks in possibly the nicest colour for a 67 Bug. Very rare an desireable 1500 Bug. This is widely regarded as the pinacle of Beetle production and the best all round Bug ever made, whilst still retaining the classic looks of oval rear lights and sloping headlights it received a 1500cc engine and front disc brakes. These wee cars are hard to come by especially in such good order as this, and the current owner had searched for quite a while to find this car and is now very reluctantly selling as being a family man is getting a more practical splitty. The 1500 was probably the best engined bug as very nippy and reliable, but also not as hard on fuel as a 1600 or evn 1300 afaik, so a rare oppertunity to get your hands on such a model.
"1967 1500cc Beetle in VW Blue, chassis number and registration documents all prove its genuine 67! Age related number plate. In great condition, 73k miles - all documented in historic MOT certificates. Lots of original parts, all stock. It received a fullprofessional respray in 2005/6 by a Beetle specialist in London prior to my purchase of the car and it still looks as good now as it did then. New calipers and brakes etc. Orginal owners manual and lots of paper work with the car. I am the third owner from new. After owning several beetles and then the 1500 - I know why they say it is the ultimate model bug - drives like a dream and keeps up with modern traffic. In four years of ownership it has never let me down, and sailed through every MOT... will be very sorry to see go as will be best beetle I will ever own, but due to growing family - getting a bigger VW bus. Looking £6500 ovno"
